Pembroke Pines, FL (December 9, 2021) – <\/b>One person lost their life and another was hurt in a Saturday morning car accident in Pembroke Pines. Authorities said it occurred at approximately 7:00 a.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

First responders were dispatched to the area of Sheridan Street on Interstate 75 shortly after the wreck occurred. Sources say a 2015 gray Mercedes was headed north on the interstate when they entered the exit ramp to head west on Sheridan Street.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mercedes traveled south through the light and drove across all travel lanes on Sheridan. It then went airborne after striking the curb, struck a tree, and landed in the drainage culvert where it rolled onto its passenger side.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital with injuries. The driver’s injuries were reported to be minor, however, the passenger lost their life at the hospital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Neither has been identified at this time. Authorities in Pembroke Pines continue to investigate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
