Palm City, FL (November 24, 2021) – <\/b>A collision between a motorcycle and a pick-up truck that took place on Monday, November 22nd on Martin Highway in the area of SW 66th Avenue resulted in the death of a 22-year-old motorcyclist from Fort Pierce.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to sources, the motorcyclist was riding eastbound on Martin Highway at about 6:00 a.m. behind a pick-up truck driven by a 65-year-old man from Stuart, when the truck driver decided to make a U-turn at the corner of SW 66th Avenue, causing the two vehicles to collide.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The rider died at the scene. He was wearing his helmet when the accident occurred.<\/span><\/p>\n

The truck driver sustained minor injuries.<\/span><\/p>\n
