The crash happened at approximately 7:00 a.m., according to preliminary reports.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The woman was struck by a semi-truck traveling near the River Landing shopping and residential complex near 14 Avenue and Northwest North River Drive. Miami Police investigators pronounced the female cyclist deceased on-site.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officials. The semi-truck, which was with \u201cCeva Logistics,\u201d appeared to be entering or exiting the loading dock at the time of the collision.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traffic homicide detectives responded to the site of the wreck in order to assist with the investigation, as well as the City of Miami Fire Rescue team.
