The wreck was reported just before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Officers with the Florida Highway Patrol say that the pickup was headed south on SR-826 when it got on the exit ramp to Northwest 103rd Street. Just then, the truck collided with a pedestrian. The pedestrian lost their life in the crash, according to reports.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The driver kept going and came to the intersection of 103rd Street and Northwest 77th Avenue where it struck a Hialeah Gardens Middle School bus, a Ford sedan, an Audi sedan, and a Honda sedan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The driver of the Audi, identified as 19-year-old Alejandro Ruiz, was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center with severe injuries. It was reported that his face was fractured in the collision.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ford driver and a baby also required transportation by helicopter to an area hospital for treatment. Footage from the scene shows the female driver on a stretcher with a baby on her chest, according to information from local sources.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those on the school bus suffered minor injuries, police said.
