Police, paramedics, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene in order to assist those involved at approximately 7:33 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incident caused a pedestrian to become injured after they were hit by a gray vehicle. They were transported to an area medical center for treatment shortly after the crash took place. Their identity has not been released at this time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police in Tamiami continue to investigate the cause of the wreck. It was reported to have occurred at Southwest 13th Avenue and Coral Way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traffic in the area was blocked for some time while crews worked at the crash scene.
