The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m., according to reports.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authorities stated that the wreck occurred in the 500 block of North University Drive near Our Savior Lutheran Church for reasons still being investigated. A 20-year-old named Monel Rivera from Tamarac was riding her bike when she was struck by a 2003 Toyota.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The victim was transported to a local medical center where she later succumbed to her injuries and passed away, according to information from various sources.
