At around 12:00 p.m., paramedics and police were called to assist at the scene of the wreck.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incident was reported to have occurred in the 500 block of Northeast 15th Street when two children were hit by a car in a hit-and-run crash. The children were promptly transported to area hospitals for care as needed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the victims was identified as a 16-year-old boy with injuries to the face, abdomen, and bleeding from the mouth. The police in downtown Miami are currently searching for a newer model silver Lexus that is believed to be the vehicle that struck the victims.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The names of the injured victims have not been disclosed to the public at this time as police continue to investigate the details of the accident.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our thoughts are with everyone involved.
