At around 2:00 p.m., the incident was reported to officials who were sent to the scene in order to assist those involved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The wreck was reported to have taken place near Northwest 42nd Avenue where Douglas Road and LeJeune meet. Officials with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the crash scene where they found six people who had been involved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two were rushed to local medical centers by ambulance and three others received treatment from paramedics at the scene. One person was taken as a trauma alert, according to police.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three vehicles were badly damaged at the scene, according to various sources. Authorities continue to investigate the events that led to the crash.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Delays in traffic were observed in the vicinity of Douglas Road on Northwest 42nd Street for an extended time period after the wreck took place.
