The bicyclist was struck by a vehicle, which had a smashed windshield when responders arrived at the scene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incident occurred on the morning of Sunday, May 23 in the northbound lanes of Bonaventure Boulevard near South Post Road. The bicyclist required transportation by helicopter to an area hospital for treatment due to the severity of their injuries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The identities of those involved have not been released to the public at this time as police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
