At approximately 5:30 p.m., police and EMTs were sent to assist at the scene located along the Sawgrass Expressway.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information from officials states that the incident happened when four vehicles collided along the expressway near Sunrise Boulevard. The factors leading up to the accident have not been reported to the public at this time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One person lost their life in the wreck. Due to the force of the collision, they were ejected from their vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identity is not currently available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No other injuries were reported to have resulted from the accident. Traffic on the expressway was diverted to Sunrise Boulevard for several hours after the incident occurred.
