The incident was reported on State Road 836.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to reports, the crash occurred at around 7:00 a.m. when a black Hyundai was headed east in the westbound lanes of the roadway in the vicinity of Northwest 17th Avenue. The Hyundai collided with a white Nissan sedan head-on. The driver of the Nissan was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Hyundai\u2019s driver was taken to Ryder Trauma in critical condition. The westbound lanes of State RRoad 836 were shut down for the majority of the morning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police continue to investigate.
