Authorities stated that the wreck happened at around 9:40 a.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to reports, the incident occurred on the Sawgrass Expressway near Sunrise Boulevard. At this time, the factors contributing to the cause of the crash remain unknown. When officials arrived at the scene, they found one person deceased and another injured near a grassy area under the expressway.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The driver of the vehicle was transported to Broward General Hospital for the treatment of injuries they sustained in the accident. Their passenger lost their life.
