Information from reports states that the incident happened at around 7:00 p.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Officers with the Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office along with Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue units were called to assist at the scene shortly after the wreck happened. It was reported in the 2300 block of Freedom Street near the border for Dania Beach.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No one involved has been identified at this time. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident. Police stated that the driver who caused the crash remained at the scene and rendered aid.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The young boy was transported by paramedics to Memorial Regional Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
