The male driver of the moped was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in critical condition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incident happened just after 3:30 a.m. on County Line Road in the westbound lanes near Florida\u2019s Turnpike. How and why the crash happened remains unknown at this time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police in Miramar stated that a white Kia Forte was traveling west when it hit the moped. The Kia then drove over the center median and into the eastbound lanes of travel before stopping against a guardrail.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The woman on the moped at the time of the crash was pronounced deceased at the scene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">County Line Road was closed in both directions for the duration of the investigation.
