The wreck was reported to have taken place on State Road 13, leaving an additional four people with serious or critical injuries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A man from St Augustine, aged 21, was headed south on State Road 13 in a pickup truck at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Saturday morning. For unknown reasons, he drove into the northbound lane and struck the left front end of an SUV traveling in the opposite direction on the road.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The SUV\u2019s driver, identified as a 69-year-old male from Pompano Beach, lost his life in the collision. Several of the passengers present in his vehicle at the time were also killed or injured in the crash.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A female Pompano Beach resident, aged 43, along with a 76-year-old Pompano Beach woman, also lost their lives in the accident. A 16-year-old girl and a 45-year-old man, along with a 5-year-old boy, were all seriously injured. A 2-year-old female suffered critical injuries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The man driving the pickup truck was critically injured.
