The incident occurred in the 6200 block of Indian River Drive just after 5:45 p.m. on April 21.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sources indicate that a 6-year-old boy from Fort Pierce was attempting to cross the street heading west when he entered the path of a Camry that was driving in the northbound lanes of the roadway. The boy was flown to St. Mary\u2019s Medical Center in West Palm Beach for the treatment of severe injuries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The victim\u2019s condition is said to be critical but stable at this time.
