Florida Highway Patrol troopers stated that the wreck occurred at around 9:00 a.m. between a sedan and a dump truck.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incident involved a 2019 Ford Escape, driven by the Sebastian man, as well as a 2007 dump truck, according to information in reports. The driver of the dump truck, identified as a 46-year-old Micco man, sustained minor injuries in the accident.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For currently unknown reasons, the Escape collided with the truck in the northbound lane of the roadway. The driver of the Escape sustained critical injuries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paramedics treated the injured parties at the crash site. The Sebastian man was taken to Health First\u2019s Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, according to officials.
