Jay is passionate about protecting those who have been injured in an accident. From a young age he saw firsthand how insurance companies take advantage of people injured in an accident\u2014at that time it was his parents. Jay saw that despite having legal representation, not all lawyers are created equal. His parents did not receive the help, protection or compensation they deserved. He knew from that point forward that he wanted to help the injured\u2014and knew he could do a better job at preventing insurance companies taking advantage of injured people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to founding Piedra | Injury Law, Jay worked for a boutique insurance defense firm where he further witnessed the machine designed to oppress accident victims. Jay was unable to continue watching people become further victimized by a system that should be protecting them. He made a switch to only helping those injured in accidents when he joined one of the largest personal injury firms in the State of Florida, where he was involved in training new attorneys and expanding the firm throughout the State. During his tenure there he recovered in excess of $30 MILLION for those injured in accidents.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hector is a Founding\/Managing Partner at Piedra\u00a0Law Injury Attorney. He graduated law school from The University of Florida Levin College of Law, the best law school in the State of Florida and earned outstanding achievements in Torts and the related practices. This, coupled with the fact that he truly enjoys helping people in need, is what motivated him to pursue his rewarding career in Personal Injury. He has dedicated his career to seeking justice for all his clients and uses his skills and talent to hold major corporations and insurance companies accountable for their actions.<\/p>

Prior to establishing Piedra\u00a0Law Injury Attorney, Hector began his career working for a well-respected boutique personal injury firm in Broward County, where he litigated numerous personal injury cases resulting in six and seven-figure settlements. He then joined one of the leading personal injury firms in the State of Florida, where he handled an immense number of cases from start to finish. During this time, he helped recover millions of dollars for those injured due to the negligence of another party.<\/p>

Hector relentlessly and eagerly fights for his clients\u2019 rights. He is committed to seeking justice, holding defendants responsible, and achieving the best possible outcome.<\/p>
